Game Loft Recent News

In October, 2007 the Game Loft was pleased to receive the award for the "Number One Exemplary After-School Program" for the State of Maine. This award was presented to us by the Maine After-School Network and was received on behalf of The Game Loft by one of our members, Mr. John Murphy (16).

The Game Loft Annual Appeal has reached a total of over $6, 660! Thank you to all who contributed.

The Game Loft has just started its Business Appeal. Thanks to the following businesses who have supported us thus far:

March 2nd has been declared Game Loft day in honor of the Game Loft's 10th Anniversary!

The Game Loft is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a VISTA for our Outreach Program next year and we have also received a grant from Maine Community Foundation totaling $3,000.00 to help pay for the expenditures!

All throughout the month of April the Transfer Station will be donating all returnables and the money they raise to The Game Loft, as part of the City of Belfast's Good Cause Returnables Program. Please be sure to take all your returnables there, or call The Game Loft to have someone pick them up for you! Contact: Leah at 207-338-6447

On Saturday, April 26th, there was a Charity Auction held to benefit The Game Loft. Rosey Gerry was absolutely fantastic as our auctioneer, and we thank all of The Game Loft supporters who showed up. With the help of some very special individuals, local businesses, and our community The Game Loft was able to raise $3,090! Thank you all so much!
